Gateway Fellowship

The Gateway Fellowship is a group of Christians of all ages who meet every Sunday at 10am to worship God in a lively contemporary way using songs and language that people can understand; praying together about the things that are going on in our lives and that matter to us most. We want to be real and authentic in our relationship with God. We seek to serve Jesus and to be guided by Holy Spirit.
The service starts at 10am in the Gateway which is above the Cracked Coffee Shop on St. Finbarr’s Place, Bandon. You are most welcome to join us. We share together in tea/coffee and refreshments at 11.15am.

What We Believe

Jesus is Lord

We believe that Jesus came to earth in human form to rescue humankind from themselves. He taught and left an example we can learn from. He made the ultimate sacrifice, his life, as a love offering in place of you and me. In this act he paid the penalty we should owe for our wrongdoing. He also defeated, what everyone dreads, the inevitability of death, by rising to live for evermore as Lord of all creation.

We believe it is possible to get to know Jesus Christ in a personal way today and that he has a plan for each one of our lives. In recognising Him as Lord and Saviour we open our lives to the power of his Holy Spirit to help us live for Him.

The Bible is God’s love letter to us, and our life manual for guidance on how to get to know Him. Getting to know him is just the beginning of an adventure into a whole new life, one which will continue to amaze as our relationship with Him deepens.
